Artist's Description
On December 17, 1903 at the secluded dunes of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, mankind first took to the air in controlled, powered flight. Orville Wright piloted the machine he and his brother Wilbur designed and constructed for 12 second over a distance of 120 feet. This print is a depiction of the iconic Wright Flyer in flight on that day. This work is copyright Mark Karvon.
