Artist's Description

The M48A3 Patton tank saw extensive action with the US military during the Vietnam War. It featured a twin-turbo diesel engine and a 90MM gun. It was deployed with the 1-77 Armor, 1-69 Armor and 2-34 Armor Regiments. Used primarily in the infantry-support role, the M48A3 performed very well. This artwork depicts the M48A3 in service with the 2-34 Armor “Dreadnaughts”.
