Artist's Description

Outclassed by the latest fighters from Japan at the onset of WW II, the P-40 Warhawk was all the United States had available for defense in the China, Burma and India theaters. Our print depicts two of the P-40E version of the fighter in the ￿Flying Tiger￿ markings used by the 23rd Fighter Group making a low pass over a quaint riverside village somewhere in Burma.
