Artist's Description
"The Southern Serves The South" was the slogan of the Southern Railway in the US. Our print depicts a Southern Railway Type Ps-4 Pacific locomotive. The Southern was reknowned for keeping their locomotives in pristine condition. Most railfans agree this was the most beautiful Pacific type locomotive ever made. The owner of the Southern Railway (US) made a trip to England and was so taken by the green paint scheme they used he implemented it on his railroad. It was an instant hit.
