Artist's Description
The F-100 Super Sabre was the world's first production aircraft capable of exceeding the speed of sound in level flight. The F-100C model was first adopted by the USAF Thunderbirds in 1956 becoming the world’s first supersonic aerial demonstration team. The Thundebirds flew 6 shows with the F-105B Thunderchief in 1964 but transitioned to the F-100D Super Sabre after an unfortunate accident. The F-100D was used until 1969. My artwork shows the team flying the F-100D Super Sabre over Hoover Dam in 1966.

From an early age I tried to express my fascination through drawing. I suppose my first...
