Veteran astronauts Pet Conrad and Richard Gordon were joined by rookie Alan Bean to make the flight in November of 1969. I have always been fascinated with the design of the Apollo spacecraft. This print is a study of the Apollo 12 Command and Service Modules - "Yankee Clipper". Pete Conrad and Al Bean made an unprecedented pinpoint landing close to the landing site of Surveyor 3 while Dick Gordon remained in lunar orbit.
